WHAT I DO
As garden designer I create for a broad range of projects varying in scale from courtyards and roof gardens to country estates and commercial projects, for both urban and rural properties.
My design style is first and foremost client and site led, pulling together the natural and built environments. I am inspired by your taste and aspirations, creating distinctive designs that are a careful balance of practicality and elegance. With the goal to create four season gardens which are a sustainable, ecological, and effortless extensions of your home or business.
I believe in creating a collaborative, fun and informal working relationship with my client.
MY INSPIRATION
Nature has an innate ability to heal, calm and inspirit.
With a focus on simplicity, proportionality, and texture, my mission is to create beautiful, personalized garden spaces for my client to reconnect, recharge, and be inspired in. A space that communicates and nurtures the unique you, while also respecting the harmony of the natural surroundings that allow your soul to breathe, draw rejuvenating strength and find inner peace.
Function remains a priority in the development of my designs, but balance, form and wonderment within the garden environment hold equal to greater value.

Blessed with an innate sense of balance and harmony in design, creating visually pleasing environments has been my natural way of expression from a young age.
My garden and landscape designs are an extension of my art as a photographer, holding a BFA degree from BYU. What interests me most in my art practice is light and shadow, texture and movement. I am drawn towards these experiences and seek to apply them whether I am taking photographs, or creating gardens. I find these qualities are what creates a compelling atmosphere to be experienced. My intention for the spaces I create is to resonate with you; for you to experience with all your senses.
My strong belief in the restorative, healing benefits of a harmonious and revitalizing outdoor environment for mental, emotional, and physical health, combined with my lifelong passion for design, sustainability and horticulture, inspired me to pursue a career in Garden Design.
While drawing from a formal education in garden design, I create intuitively and am motivated by emotions. My work is rooted in the natural world with it’s patterns and color waiting to be discovered and experienced. Celebrating and giving awareness to our creation’s generous gifts of life, beauty and healing has always resided in my heart’s earnest desires.
I intend my designs to be original works of art as everyday garden living.

B loved Garden Designs is a garden and landscape design studio, offering detailed, comprehensive design plans. Based in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts the studio mostly works on design projects across eastern Massachusetts.
